| Acne is classified into 4 stages. Grade I - Mild acne consisting mostly of blackheads, whiteheads, and millie. Grade II - Moderate acne consisting of increased amounts of blackheads, whiteheads, and millia, as well as pustules, papule, redness and inflammation. Grade III - severe acne with increased amounts of all acne symptoms. Grade IV - Cystic acne is referred to a dermatologist. Treatments of acne consist of deep pore cleansing, extractions, hydration, detoxifying masque and anti-bacterial treatments. Higher grades of acne will require more extractions and additional specialized treatments. For best results, higher grades of acne will require multiple treatments until desired results are achieved.
